Brothers, Arnaud and Laurent Saget, born in the Loire region, simply describe as amazing wine lovers. Owners and producer at Maison Saget La Perriere. They were brought up in a winemaking environment, and they launched a signature brand, Les Eclaireurs (Pathfinders), a low input approach to wine. They want to unify two opposing worlds, the winemaker and the merchant. They gave free rein to their originality and creativity! The Saget La Perrière wineries and vineyards that have been acquired gradually over the years and envelope the diversity and nuances found in the terroirs of the Loire wine regions. Scattered along the river from east to west, the different vineyards are cultivated with the utmost care, producing wines with strong identities that express the unique characteristics of their terroirs.

Natural winemaking is going beyond the organic/ biodynamic certification. It is a philosophy that a winemaker adopts to work harmoniously with nature in his vineyard giving his wines a unique personality and character. No ‘traumatic’ techniques used, such as reverse osmosis, filtrations, flash pasteurisation or thermovinification.

                        
El Chardo 2022 
This is a wine for Chardonnay addicts. Vinified without sulphites, the pale gold wine with shades of straw reveals a beautiful aromatic intensity, and offers a palate of white fruits (peach, mango), hazelnuts and almonds, which blend with a touch of brioche. The end of the mouth lingers on gourmet notes of cake, embellished with a touch of freshness. A pure wine with a strong personality, off the beaten track. The finish is spicy and appetizing. 


                                                                

EL Pinot 2021

Well-extracted color and tannins bring real support to this Pinot Noir. Garnet sparkles with a ruby-colored red, revealing the nose of violets and black fruits. The mouth, gourmet notes of blackberry and blackcurrant continues on a slightly vanilla touch. No added sulphites during vinification.
